Composite bonding is a cosmetic dental treatment that uses tooth-coloured resin to improve the shape, size, or colour of your teeth.
It’s a quick, minimally invasive procedure that can transform your smile in just one visit—without drilling, injections, or damage to the natural tooth.

The surface of the tooth is gently roughened and treated with a bonding agent—no drilling is needed in most cases.
A shade-matched resin is sculpted directly onto the tooth to achieve the desired shape and look.
A special curing light is used to set the resin in place.
The material is polished to blend seamlessly with your natural teeth.
Thank you to our patients for allowing us to share their amazing outcomes at Geans Clinic.
After a comprehensive evaluation with our dentists at Geans Clinic, we will ensure you have optimum gum health as composite bonding cannot be applied to teeth where there is bleeding and inflammation of the gums. Our dentists will also check your aims for treatment and ensure that composite bonding is right for you and if other alternatives such as braces or veneers may be more appropriate.
Composite resin is not as strong as porcelain veneers or crowns, so they may chip if used to bite hard objects. Composite will also stain over time (especially with smoking, red wine, coffee, etc.)
Typically lasts 3–7 years with good care, but can be repaired or re-serviced easily.
Composite bonding can help repair chipped or worn teeth, minor cracks or fractures, gaps between teeth (diastemas), disguise mind discolouration or stains, address irregular or uneven teeth, address very slight misalignment (to a cosmetic degree) and help with tooth lengthening for a more balanced smile.
Following your consultation, you will be provided with a written estimate of costs for treatment. This is based on the materials or products to be used, and complexity of the procedure. You will always be given clear transparent costs and there will never be any hidden costs or surprise bills!
